Taper

Tapers and insertion pins have become essential tools for professional piercing studios. Until now, they’ve never been ready-to-use, requiring sterilization beforehand or simply being too expensive for single-use.
The tapered rod allows for quick and easy jewelry insertion, as well as reopening nearly closed piercings. These are machined from a single solid piece of 316 steel.
They are machine-polished to create an ultra-smooth finish, then coated with a medical-grade silicone layer—making them the smoothest insertion pins on the market today.

These tapers come in four different models:

"Threaded pin" taper for internally threaded jewelry – the jewelry is screwed onto the taper, ensuring it follows smoothly during insertion
"Threadless pin" (press-fit) for threadless jewelry – a convenient taper that lets the jewelry follow securely along with the pin
"Standard pin" that allows internally threaded jewelry to be guided without screwing it on
"Concave pin" – a small dip at the rear end of the pin makes it perfect for curved jewelry like captive bead rings, nose screws, and other rounded pieces

All our tapers come sterilized and individually packaged.
