Press Fit or Threadless (PP) is the model with a built-in insertion pin that fits all threadless jewelry and allows you to perform the piercing in one smooth motion – no need to fumble with separate tapers or insertion pins.

Standard Pin (PS) is also a needle with a built-in insertion pin! It fits internally threaded jewelry, but since the pin is larger than the Press Fit version, it does not fit threadless jewelry.

Threaded Pin (PT) is the needle that screws into internally threaded jewelry, so you never risk "dropping" the jewelry during the piercing procedure.
